Property Ratings
All our properties are personally inspected and rated on a scale of three to five stars. With over 19 years experience within the tourism and accommodation industries and having been inspected ourselves on many occasions, we know the areas that count.
We only take on properties of three star standard and above. This means that, as a holidaymaker, you can be sure of an above average quality of accommodation. Each property is inspected as a whole, taking all factors into consideration, however the key things we look for are:
- Cleanliness
- Decoration
- Furnishings
- The level of equipment provided
- Room size
- Attention to detail
- Overall quality
We allocate a star rating based on what the property offers overall to help guide our guests on what to expect. The ratings mean the following:
Three Star Rating
The standard of the accommodation is good. The property is clean, has adequate space and is sufficiently equipped for the maximum number of occupants. Decoration is co-ordinated and in keeping with the property.
Four Star Rating
The property exceeds three star level and usually has more spacious accommodation and with above average fittings and furnishings.
Five Star Rating
An excellent quality of accommodation all round. Immaculate, spacious rooms with exceptional fittings and furnishings. Attention to detail throughout the property.
Other factors such as location and outside space can also influence a property's rating, however our ratings reflect the overall guest experience, taking all factors into accoun. This ensures that a stunning view or beachside location will never earn a property a five-star rating without the rest of the accommodation being up to the required standard as well.
Some of our properties are also rated by other organisations such as Visit Britain. Where this is the case, it will be noted in the property details.
