How to get to Woolacombe
By car - Leave the M5 at junction 27 and follow the A361 towards Barnstaple. Go straight over the roundabout at the junction with the A396 and then continue straight on for approximately 18 miles until you reach the outskirts of South Molton. Go straight over the first roundabout you reach. In two miles, turn right at another roundabout onto the A399 towards Blackmoor Gate.
After approximately 16 miles, turn left onto the A3123. Two miles further on turn left at a T-junction, continuing on the A3123 which bends around to the right shortly afterwards.
Two miles further on, go straight over a crossroads and continue to follow the A3123 until you reach the Mullacott Cross roundabout. At the roundabout go straight across onto the B3343 signed towards Woolacombe.
This road continues for a further three miles and eventually reaches the centre of Woolacombe. If you have a booked accommodation with Headlands Holidays, please consult your information pack for exact directions to your accommodation.
By public transport - The nearest railway station to Woolacombe is in Barnstaple which is reached via the Tarka Line from Exeter. Onward travel from Barnstaple is by taxi or bus to Woolacombe. Take the 303 bus via Braunton from Barnstaple Bus Station and alight at Woolacombe Sands after approximately 45 minutes of travelling. Buses run approximately every two hours on weekdays and Saturdays. There is no service on Sundays.
Taking a taxi will take less time but is likely to cost that little bit extra.
